February/March 2007
Nature Photography Competition and Exhibition
This is an annual event which draws from the talents of many local photographers. The quality of the exhibit is very high; it is free to the public, and makes for a very nice date or family activity. Plan on a couple of hours to do it justice, or an hour to see the best. We have entered four 16x20 prints — one each in the categories of Nature, Water, Landscape, and Sunrise/Sunset.
This year’s contest has drawn a stunning collection of nearly 400 submissions from local photographers. There is a great deal of nature’s beauty on display, and a wealth of new ideas and inspirations awaits the open-minded. Seeing this exhibit is time very well spent.
When: Friday, 02 February through Saturday, 10 March 2007
Where: Monte L. Bean Museum of Life Science at the Provo, UT campus of Brigham Young University.
